Guns in America
Gun-control simply makes sense. Those that argue against it simply must not have seen the statistics. From an article in the Anderson Independent Mail here in South Carolina - an area where people love their guns:
"Stricter gun-control laws work in every other country on the planet, and they will work here. According to 2004 data from the Geneva-based Small Arms Survey, the United States accounts for 9.42 gun deaths for every 100,000 people. In England -- which allows no firearms -- the rate is a minuscule 0.30. And in Australia, which has banned only major assault weapons, the rate is 1.71."
Paul Helmke, a former Republican mayor and president of the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence stated "It is harder to get a job at McDonald's than it is to buy a handgun."
What did a 24 year old woman need a .357 and 300 bullets for?
Now they are in the hands of someone even crazier.
And this makes sense to someone???
